Become a Pet-Sitter
If you have unimpeachable regard for the welfare of animals and live in the Peterborough or Cambridge area, you may be eligible to join our network of Pet Care Hosts. Due to the increasing demand for Pet Sitters over the past twelve months Doggy Paws are now looking for Pet Sitters in the Peterborough and Cambridge areas. If you have the following qualities to become a Pet Sitter and you are serious about joining our net work of Pet Sitters I would love to talk with you about joining the ranks of our dedicated, professional sitters and boarders.
Successful candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Live in either Peterborough or Cambridge area.
- Do not travel often.
- Live in a pet friendly building and be the leaseholder or owner.
- Have a clean, attractive and well-kept home.
- Have a computer and land line / mobile phone.
- Be able to provide business / emplyment references.
- Have had a dog or cat of your own during your childhood and/or adult life.
- Most importantly, must TRULY love animals!

Families, couples and singles are all welcomed to apply. We especially welcome mature, established adults who have been in the workforce for three years or more. Persons who have experience with animals (personally or professionally) are particularly encouraged to apply. Please note that this is only a part-time job offering. This should not be your primary source of income.
Pet sitting is fun and also rewarding, but it is also hard work. If the Pet Sitting is done correctly, it requires the utmost care, ethics, carefulness and responsibility. Doggy Paws will only employ the finest pet sitters in Peterborough and Cambridge to work for us. We hope you will be able to join us. Due to time limitations, we can only contact persons that we are interested in interviewing so, please, no phone calls or resumes yet.
